Forest Allies: Evidence-Based Claims Framework

At the Rainforest Alliance, we know that those who make their living from the forest have a powerful incentive to protect it. With this principle in mind, we launched Forest Allies in 2021 to leverage corporate support for the bold local action needed to halt forest degradation and deforestation and mitigate the global climate crisis.

Claims are a key component of our initiative, enabling our ability to elevate the visibility of forest communities through rich, data-driven communications and storytelling and acknowledging the financial and in-kind investments made by our members. This framework sets forth the criteria and requirements for claims by Forest Allies members.
